Conveniently located across the street from the Commons Mall (Target side) and McDonald's, our Federal Way school is also less than 1 mile from the Department of Licensing office. We offer walk-in knowledge tests and can usually accommodate a driving test on the same day as well! Appointments are always available, of course :)

What services are offered at the Federal Way location?
Teen Driver's Ed
While we only hire instructors who are friendly and genuinely want to help others, the Federal Way location has probably the nicest driving instructors in the state. When you are first learning to drive in a diverse city like Federal Way, there's a larger mix of driving styles and it takes special care to learn how to navigate these streets safely. Learning to drive in Federal Way will help you prepare for some of the most challenging driving conditions, and this location is one of our teachers' favorites.
Each teen driver's education course consists of 30 online classroom hours, 4 hours of simulated driving scenario training, 5 behind-the wheel lessons, and 1 driving lesson observation. The course runs a minimum of 30 days (per state law), and most students finish in about 6-8 weeks.
Out of all the driving schools in Federal Way, we are the only one with full-time administrators to assist you and your teen in successfully completing the course. We pride ourselves on having excellent communication before, during, and after the driver's ed course.

State Knowledge Test
Walk-ins are welcome! We offer the state written exam here during the week, either on computer or paper. Check the website for our next openings, or walk in between 10am and 5pm during the week! You can read about our best tips for passing on our website, but it's very important to read through the entire Driver's Guide.

State Driving Test
Our location gives us easy access to quiet neighborhoods, and we stay off the busy sections of Federal Way. We offer the driving test every weekday by appointment, but you can usually take a driving exam the same day.
Our examiners speak English, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian for the driving test. We also have diagrams and translations for many other languages, including Chinese (simplified), Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Bulgarian, Thai, and French. Our Federal Way, WA school location is across the street from the Commons Mall, and from the McDonald's We are on the opposite corner from the Federal Way Transit Center. There's free parking in the lot, with spaces always available.
