What services are offered at the Maple Valley location?
Teen Driver's Ed
The teen driver's education course offers online classes, and in-person driving lessons. The Maple Valley location has one of our best locations for first-time drivers, in a very forgiving neighborhood with wide streets and lots of room to make mistakes :) Each course consists of 30 online classroom hours, 4 hours of simulated driving scenario training, 5 behind-the wheel lessons, and 1 driving lesson observation.
This location is unique, in that several of our instructors originally sent their children here and eventually became driving instructors themselves! We started back in 2011 with two parents who were frustrated with the low-quality experience at two different schools (that are no longer in business). We vowed to build a school that communicated well, was committed to building skills and confidence in young drivers, and with instructors that genuinely care for others.
We started at the 4 Corners area, but eventually moved down to the valley where we could have quick access to the freeway, and a backdoor to Covington for more dense traffic situations. We've been at our current location since 2015.

State Knowledge Test
We offer the state written exam here during the week, either on computer or paper. Occasionally we have Saturdays available, and you can check the website for our next openings. Learn our best tips for passing on our website, but it's very important to read through the entire Driver's Guide.

State Driving Test
Maple Valley is a quiet area that is a good spot for taking the state driving exam. Ideally, before 4pm is the easiest time, as we get an active commute between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. We offer the test every weekday by appointment, but you can usually take a driving exam the same day.
Our examiners speak English for the driving test. We also have diagrams and translations for many other languages, including Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese (simplified), Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Bulgarian, Thai, and French. If you don't see your language here, we'll make the diagrams for you!

Where we are located
Our Maple Valley school location is between the Taco Time and the post office, across the street from the north McDonald's. There's free parking in the lot, but during peak hours it's easier to park on the other side of the building and use the breezeway next to the post office.
