Teen Driver's Ed

The teen driver's education course offers online classes, and in-person driving lessons. Each course consists of 30 online classroom hours, 4 hours of simulated driving scenario training, 5 behind-the wheel lessons, and 1 driving lesson observation. We hire our instructors based on two important qualities: (1) Friendliness, and (2) A genuine need to help others. Our proactive style is different than most schools, as we treat the car lessons like a "learning laboratory". You'll try out new skills, we'll make a few mistakes and have a couple of laughs, and gradually improve your confidence while reminding you of important cautions. State Knowledge Test

We offer the state written exam here during the week, either on computer or paper. Our testing room is insulated for sound, so you can focus on passing the first time without distractions! Learn our best tips for passing on our website, but it's very important to read through the entire Driver's Guide.

State Driving Test

Downtown Kent is a great place for your driving test, as we stay out of the congested areas and into the quiet nearby neighborhoods. The exams tend to take a little less time here, as everything needed for the test is close by. We offer the test every weekday by appointment, but you can almost always take a test the same day.

Our examiners speak English, Spanish, and Russian for the driving test. We also have diagrams and translations for many other languages, including Ukrainian, Chinese (simplified), Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Bulgarian, and French. Individual Private Lessons

Our happiest customers are the ones who are super nervous about driving, and are reluctant to start. Come chat with us and see why we are Kent's favorite driving school for nervous drivers! We use a proactive and friendly approach, and we don't get upset when mistakes are made. That's the whole point of a driving lesson; to make a few errors along the way to learning a new skill. If you drive up on the sidewalk while turning, we'll have a good chuckle together and go practice another one.
